DL Exports International has been consulting with exporters for more than 20 years. With a background in export regulatory and ISO 9000 compliance, our consultants assist many firms in the United States and abroad in establishing, documenting, and auditing their internal procedures in the areas of quality and export compliance.

We provide our clients with a firm understanding of both the various export regulations and the government due diligences standards for internal controls. DL Exports International typically conducts gap analysis to determine what products and technology are exported to what countries. Then, we analyze what procedures are currently in place. Even if the company does not have a formal export control system, other related programs such as ISO 9000 and Sarbanes Oxley controls may be linked to provide the compliance framework.

DL Exports International consults in specialty export issues:

  • Commercial high technology exports under the Export Administration Regulations
  • Military items under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
  • Export documentation issues administered under the Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations and Harmonized Tariff Code
  • North American Free Trade
  • Developing markets in Latin America
